چکیده
Aim of the work To study extent right ventricular (RV) dysfunction in ischemic patients after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Patients and methods RV function was studied preoperatively followed for 1 month postoperatively 40 who were scheduled elective surgery other controls. We evaluated by tissue Doppler tricuspid annulus basal septum, annular plane systolic excursion, dimensions. Both LV dimensions, left atrium aortic root dimensions also measured before surgery. Results significantly reduced CABG as assessed pulsed-wave imaging both septum. There a significant reduction excursion CABG, but there no difference Moreover, LVEDD CABG. Conclusion remained depressed

Evaluation of Right Ventricular Function by Tissue Doppler Echocardiography in Asthmatic Children
BackgroundAsthma is the most chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways in children and asthmatic patients can experience cardiac dysfunction, pulmonary hypertension and finally cor pulmonale later in life. We aimed to investigate Right Ventricular (RV) functions in asthmatic children by conventional and tissue Doppler echocardiography (TDE).Materials and Methods Pulmonary function tests, con...
متن کاملeffects of cardiac rehabilitation program on right ventricular function after coronary artery bypass graft surgery
background: cardiac rehabilitation has been recognized as one of the most effective strategies for managing cardiovascular indices as well as controlling the cardiovascular risk profile, in particular after coronary artery bypass graft surgery (cabg). however, the effect of this program on right ventricular function following cabg is unclear. the aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of ...
متن کاملThe influence of Asthma on Right Ventricular Systolic and Diastolic Function in Children according to Tissue Doppler Echocardiography
Introduction:Asthma is the most common chronic inflammatory condition affecting the lower airways among children. Asthma may influence right ventricular (RV) function and patients may develop right ventricular hypertrophy, pulmonary hypertension and cor pulmonale. The main objective of this study is to determine RV dysfunction in asymptomatic asthmatic children as detected by ti...
متن کاملEvaluations of erectile dysfunction before and after on-pump coronary artery bypass graft surgery
Abstract Background: Erectile dysfunction (ED) is common in cardiovascular disease (CVD) and indicates a complication of coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG). This study was designed to evaluate the status of erectile dysfunction in patients with CAD before and after CABG surgery. Methods: We designed a prospective cohort study on male patients candidates for elective on-pump CABG...
متن کاملPrognostic value of right ventricular myocardial performance index in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery
Abstract Background: Right ventricular myocardial performance index (RVMPI) is a Doppler–derived parameter of non-geometrical ventricular function that measures both systolic and diastolic functions of the right ventricle. The aim of this study is to compare prognostic value of RVMPI with global RV function in patients undergoing Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG). Methods: In a longitudinal ...
